Tiger Tiger Bar is proud to boast one the widest selections of drinks available outside of the Chinese mega-cities. Beyond the countless special offers or the challenge of the “Paddle”, the “Oar” or climbing the “Pyramid”, at the last count, the bar could provide as many as thirty different beers alone. For those not interested in the immense range of beer, spirits and cocktails available, or the newly revamped shot and shooter bar upstairs – “The Oar Bar”, soft drinks, English and Chinese tea and undoubtedly the finest coffee in Nantong is available, thanks to the city’s first Italian Gaggia coffee machine, using beans regularly shipped in from Shanghai.
Another source of pride for TT is the extremely high level of service and cleanliness that can be found there, meeting European standards, one of the bar’s founding principles. It has been lucky to receive daily guidance and consultation from a group of British Nantong expats with substantial high end hospitality management experience, which has ensured success in this end, and warranted reviews of the bar along the lines of “renowned for taking care of its customers. Without a doubt, […] the cleanest bar in Nantong”.
Beyond drinks, Tiger Tiger Bar offers a high quality pool table, with a regular tournament eagerly awaited by all around, huge widescreen TVs, international cable channels, a DVD player and an X-Box with an ample supply of games for all those wanting to exercise their thumbs.
TT is also becoming something of a dinnertime standard for many, not just because of its long happy hour - For those wishing to sample something of a taste of home whilst at the bar, food can be delivered from a wide selection of restaurants across Nantong, covering a range of cuisines, and with the “Blue Chip” next door, China’s second authentic English fish and chip shop, after Beijing, the hearty British standard, battered cod, or bacon and egg sandwiches are only minutes away! Just ask the bar staff and sustenance will soon be yours!
